Daniel has over 25 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry. A Professional Engineer licensed in 13 states, he previously served as CEO and Executive Director of the NC Rural Water Association from 2007 to 2021. Prior to that he has worked in local government utilities and as a consultant. Daniel is a certified AMPP/NACE level 2 coating inspector and a Certified Association Executive and holds advanced level certifications in water and wastewater operations. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from UNC Charlotte and a Masters in Business Administration from East Carolina University. Along with his work with customers in eastern South Carolina, he also presents regularly at industry conferences and training events on a variety of technical, managerial and financial topics.
